1928 - 2018

We are sad to inform you that John W. Pilley, Jr. Professor Emeritus of Psychology at Wofford College, owner/teacher of Chaser, passed away June 17th, 2018 after a brief arm wrestle with leukemia, 2 weeks shy of his 90th birthday. PBS's, Nova ScienceNOW & producer Julia Cort re-cut and posted a beautiful memorial video below. To learn more about this magical man click here.

Chaser continues to live with the Pilley women; Sally Pilley, Robin Pilley and Deb Pilley Bianchi, all of whom have lived, loved and worked with Chaser for her entire life. They are continuing to carry on the Chaser legacy with a second book, a fascinating, result oriented tutorial of how to teach your dog human language, just like Chaser. We believe there will be  "A World of Chaser's." Please continue to follow Chaser's day to day on FB & Instagram.
